I joined The Boston Beer Company in January 2022 working as a Creative Services Co-op. I created artwork for all of the core Boston Beer Company brands — Samuel Adams®, Dogfish Head®, Twisted Tea®, Truly® Hard Seltzer, and Angry Orchard® — but my primary focus was designing marketing assets for Truly® Hard Seltzer and internal materials for the company.
During my time at The Boston Beer Company, I collaborated with co-workers across the marketing, sales, legal, and other internal departments and communicated with external print vendors to produce point-of-sale materials for accounts across the country. I created a variety of print and digital designs, including posters, menu cards, window stickers, vinyl banners, social media posts, digital flyers, and custom signage that used consistent branding for each brand.

As a member of the Boston Beer Company brand team, I had the opportunity to design the collateral for a series of annual meetings. This involved creating a variety of banners, name tags, and posters that maintained a consistent visual identity.

In addition to designing meeting collateral, I created product materials for the sales team that highlighted the Boston Beer Company offerings. Below is one such design — a pocket-sized accordion fold product portfolio.

I was also responsible for designing multi-branded materials that advertised multiple Boston Beer Company brands. These designs needed to maintain each brand's visual identity, while also ensuring they were cohesive as a whole.

During the spring of 2022, Twisted Tea underwent a brand refresh, and I was asked to join the Twisted Tea team for the month of August to assist with creating materials that utilized the new brand elements. This involved determining how to best use the updated typefaces on posters and resizing artwork to work across a range of different signage.
